Our People
Our Minister - Rev Jon Salmon
Hi there, welcome to the Earley Trinity website. I started this adventure here as Minister in September 2007 having spent four years as a curate in an inner city Anglican church in Bradford. I’m married to Jo, who is amazing and she and I are privileged to have three wonderful kids in Jack, Lily and Nancy. I used to work in international development and so as a family we’ve lived in Zimbabwe, Uganda and Tanzania and life has been wonderfully varied! I became a Christian in Zimbabwe when I was 19 and have been involved in a variety of churches over the years from house churches and Anglican cell churches in the UK, to the Anglican Cathedral in Kampala and the International Baptist Church in Dar es Salaam. I studied Anthropology at Swansea and Sussex universities and theology at Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford.
I love long distance running, squash, tennis, mountain biking, canoeing and photography and have a great love for the outdoors. A key question for me is how well I use these to push more into the person God has made me to be and how to use them to bring Him glory.
Our Curate - Rev Cath Mackrell
